Burned Biscuits

When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast
food for dinner every now and then. And I
remember one night in particular when she had
made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.
On that evening so long ago, my Mom placed a
plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned
biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting
to see if anyone noticed! Yet all dad did was
reach for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask
me how my day was at school. I don't remember
what I told him that night, but I do remember
watching him smear butter and jelly on that
 biscuit and eat every bite!

When I got up from the table that evening, I
remember hearing my Mom apologize to my dad for
burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what
he said: "Honey, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good
night and I asked him if he really liked his
biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and
said, "Your Mummy put in a hard day at work
today and she's real tired.   And besides – a
little burned biscuit never hurt anyone!"

Life is full of imperfect things and imperfect
people. I'm not the best at hardly anything, and
I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like
everyone else. But what I've learned over the
years is that learning to accept each other’s
faults - and choosing to celebrate each other’s
differences - is one of the most important keys
to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting
 relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you
will learn to take the good, the bad, and the
ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet
of God.  Because in the end, He's the only One
who will be able to give you a relationship
 where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!

We could extend this to any relationship. In
fact, understanding is the base of any
relationship, be it a husband-wife or
 parent-child or friendship!

Be kinder than necessary because everyone you
meet is fighting some kind of battle.

"Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil
 - it has no point."

Life - An Enigma

Life is like an Enigma, there is always new things that we find out about it. Each day we try to conquer the unknown part of our life, but life always finds a new way to surprise us. All of us think that we have the control over our life and we adopt different ways of knowing our future so that we are able to handle it better and also the people and opportunities arising, but unfortunately we don’t realize that life has its own game plan and there are many times were are just the actors in the play. Shakespeare very aptly classifies the life of man into 7 stages. But we as humans never want to appreciate or accept the other persons viewpoints.

Why I say that life is like an Enigma is cause we never know what may come our way in the next instant. It is difficult to predict.

What is Love?

We all run around in the search of Love. What is Love? Do you know its meaning? Have you ever felt or experienced it? God alone knows the true meaning of love. He alone is capable of loving us unconditionally. We as humans only think that we love one another. But, when it comes to our needs we forget the one that we love and think just about ourselves.

Love is small four lettered word, but it encompasses a lot, which most of us are not capable of fulfilling as humans.

I love with all my heart and soul, even after having been broken down. I forgot everything and believed that there are still people who love, however even they have their own motives. And even if they feel that they love you there will be something or the other that will crop up. No Human love is unconditional, but based on some need or the other and is thus has its own conditions. Can we ever love someone without having ulterior motives?

I’ve faced enough in life to know that whatever happens, life never ends and that we should keep on fighting till we achieve our desires and wants. It’s the capacity to go through these trials that define and display love.
LOVE… Do you have it in YOU??

Pyar ka tasweer

Pyar main hum deewane
bas unko dekte hi jaye
jab bhi aank khola, unhe paya
Humare aank main jo unka tasweer tha
